Type 2 Non standard is all pins in parallel granting full power at Supercharger. DC ONLY!Type 2 Mennekes is without 2 bottom pins. Making car able to charge from Type 2 socket as well, but DC charge will be limited 2 times slower.
All Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles manufactured after May 1, 2019 have the technical capability to charge at Type 2 To TPC charging stations using a Type 2 adapter. SUITABLE FOR TESLA 2019 UP MODELS, EXAMPLE: Tesla Model S & Model X Gen 1; Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X, & Model Y Gen 2; Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X, & Model Y Gen 2; Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X Owners of older Model S and Model X vehicles will require a service modification to use the Tesla CCS-2 Quick Charge Adapter.

This European adapter was modified for Tesla Motors owners: Outline charge connector of type 2. Type 2 for Tesla 3,x,s in the United States. This allows US Teslas to be charged at EU Superchargers.
Type second – line anti is all pins are connected in parallel, having allowed full power at the supercharger. ONLY IN DC! Mennekes type 2 lacks two bottom pins. Making the car capable of able to charge from a Type 2 power outlet as well, but DC charging will be two times slower.
